You can apply online after the notification for Ph.D admission is issued by the university through website. However notification in each discipline will depend on number of seats available for admission. This notification of the same will be issued in the month of April or May.

3. What is syllabus for the Ph.D entrance test?
Syllabus for Ph.D. entrance test will be based on syllabus content defined by University Grants Commission for NET (UGC). Subjects (Engineering) for which UGC do not conduct the NET, GATE/GPAT syllabus will be followed.
4. What is minimum eligibility for applying Ph.D program?
Candidate who have scored at least 55% marks( without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and social sciences, computer science & applications, electronic science etc are eligible for this test. The Scheduled caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Physically handicapped(PH)/Visually Handicapped(VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50 % marks( without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this test.5.
